THE BRIEF
Interdependence
SCCA tasked us with redefining how their work is understood, connecting world-class science with the lived experience of patients, clinicians and researchers.
They needed a full creative system capable of spanning TV, print, digital, recruitment, fundraising and institutional communications, all anchored in a human-centred narrative.

Project Scope
-
TV commercials, out-of-home, print and web advertising
-
Recruitment film and multi-platform digital campaigns
-
A brand refresh supported by motion, stills and design systems
-
Strategic communications tools for funding, partnerships and institutional visibility
-
A comprehensive photo and video library built for long-term use across the organisation

Framework Building
Together, we produced:
• A unified communication system linking science, care and personal experience
• A human-centred visual language with the integrity to operate across clinical and public contexts
• Tools enabling SCCA to engage patients, staff, donors, partners and academic stakeholders
• Campaign assets built for durability across broadcast, print, digital and internal channels
• Scalable frameworks that strengthened recruitment, reputation and strategic outreach

Insight
The work was shaped inside SCCA’s ecosystem, in clinics, research labs and patient waiting rooms. We spent time with cancer patients, nurses, doctors and scientists, listening closely to how they understood hope, fear, progress and care. Their words and environments guided the storytelling. This proximity ensured the creative work reflected the humanity within the science, not an external interpretation of it.

Impact
The outcome is a communications platform that is strategic, emotive and institutionally coherent. By uniting large-scale campaigns, brand evolution, narrative design, photography, film and staff mentorship, the project strengthened how SCCA presents its mission, as both scientific excellence and deeply human work.
