How Do We Identify Grassroots Organisations to Work With?We seek out grassroots organisations that are not just making a difference — but are poised to scale their impact, challenge norms, and benefit from structured, strategic visibility. Every organisation is different. But the ones we work with tend to share some core characteristics: 1. Rooted in Purpose, Led with Experience: Led by those with deep, lived knowledge of the issue — with community trust and a track record of responsive, frontline action. 2. Aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Working toward long-term change in SDG-aligned areas like health, climate, education, or equity — with potential for mission-aligned partnership. 3. Underfunded Yet Crucial: Focused on urgent, overlooked issues — delivering real impact despite resource constraints and lacking the visibility to grow. 4. High Potential for Replicability and Influence: Carrying insight or models that could inform others — with the capacity to shift narratives or strategy across the sector. 5. A Strategic Shift in Sight: Ready to move from reactive comms to intentional storytelling — and open to deep collaboration, mentoring, and shared systems. 6. Aligned with Shared-Purpose Partnerships: Well positioned to engage corporate or philanthropic allies — offering insight, data, and story that drives mutual value. 7. Communications Need — and Readiness: Lacking cohesive comms tools but actively seeking structure — and willing to co-create a framework that reflects their full identity. 8. A Willingness to Lead in New Ways: Bold enough to do things differently — tackling complex issues with innovation, insight, and a clear desire to scale what works.

What’s included in the 12-month process? The full build is structured in six phases: Alignment & shared agreement Infrastructure design & creative build First 3-month review Second 3-month review Launch of the full framework Post-launch support (4 hrs/month for 12 months) We balance flexibility with structure — supporting the work, not overwhelming it.
-
What do organisations receive at the end?A full communications system, shaped by the work and ready to scale with it. This includes: Messaging and brand architecture Website and digital platforms Story and editorial tools Templates for reporting, outreach, and planning Visual assets and guidelines Mentoring and internal capacity support It’s not a deliverables list. It’s infrastructure — built with care and made to hold.
-
What do partners gain access to?Strategic, purpose-aligned content Real-world narrative and community insight Engagement and outcome data Access to shared tools and dashboards Visibility across public materials and platforms This is not charity. It’s an investment in shared infrastructure
-
What’s in the 3-way agreement?Clarity. The agreement outlines: Delivery timeline and milestone points Roles, boundaries, and creative responsibilities Feedback processes and shared tools Terms for content, data, and story ownership Conditions for pausing or rescoping, if needed
-
Can partnerships continue or renew after 12 months?Yes — where purpose and momentum align. At the final partner review, both the grassroots organisation and the partner have space to explore what continued collaboration could look like. A renewed engagement might focus on deepening community outreach, building new program visibility, expanding content systems, or strengthening internal communications. There’s no assumption of renewal — but there is space for it, shaped intentionally and transparently, just like the first engagement.
-
Is the organisation involved throughout?Always. Every step is co-created — shaped by lived experience, internal insight, and the voice of the team. This isn’t a creative process imposed from the outside. It’s collaborative from start to finish.
-
What is the Partnership Hub?A shared digital workspace where all three parties stay aligned. -
Does NÔVI stay involved after launch?Yes — through 4 hours/month remote support for a full year. We stay connected to troubleshoot, refine, and ensure the system evolves as intended.
